SAPU - Travels EP

Rhythm By Nature founder Sapu keeps things grounded and firm, but with a latent emotional release, on the 'Travels' EP: we can only guess that this was a four-tracker made in the immediate aftershock of the producer's own travels. Beautifully sequenced and layered, 'Travels' opens out on a relative Chicago-deep creep, before 'Chord Story' really impresses with its tuned, on-off balafons and croaking ghostly voices. 'Vibrant Progress' and 'Hatsu Hinode' minimalise the overall mix, rounding off an overall wicked deep shading by the Berlin resident.
